Beginning April 8 at 2 p.m., the 1897 Titus County bell in downtown Mount Pleasant Bell Tower will ring to call residents “together” for prayer or reflection on behalf of our healthcare workers and first responders on the frontline of COVID-19, and for those who are sick.
The bell rings daily for 3 minutes. All Titus County churches are encouraged to also ring their bells at 2 p.m., and citizens can join by going to their front lawns and ringing bells to express our support for one another. The daily “Bells of Hope” will continue until further notice.
