28Two suspects are still wanted in connection with a late-night stabbing and robbery at an Omaha convenience store april 20. The assault left a store employee with non-life-threatening injuries to the hand.
The incident occurred at 10:57 p.m. outside the Omaha Star Mart on U.S. Highway 67. Reports indicate two black males wearing jeans, hoodies and bandanas confronted the employee in the parking lot and demanded an undetermined amount of money. The suspects stabbed the victim before fleeing the scene.
“The two left on foot and ran behind the store,” explained Morris County Sheriff Jack Martin.
Anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the incident or may have subsequent information is asked to call the Omaha Police Department, the Morris County Sheriff’s Office or submit anonymous tips to Morris County Crimestoppers at (903) 645-STOP (7867).
